This plate Bryan Adams presents us a beautiful piece of rock: the eleven songs are catchy, vibrant and uncomplicated. Now Mr. Adams is not getting any younger and can no longer bring such wild things like on the "Reckless" from '84. Nonetheless, he succeeds here to present a varied album, which is a not get bored. The best piece is here for me, "Open Road", which was released as a single deal. Similarly beautiful, albeit more slowly and somewhat moody's "I Was Only Dreamin '". Rather happy are because "Not Romeo Not Juliet" and the right fleet "She's A Little Too Good For Me". With "Why Do You Have To Be So Hard To Love" and "Flying" and two successful ballads are, with me, however, the latter with her flute sound in the chorus is almost too corny. The title song "Room Service" is not so well: a bit too unimaginative in the chorus, but otherwise the rest of the songs are pretty neat. What's on the other hand I do not like that the disc with about 37 min. is so short; forty-five minutes would have need to be there, right? Bryan Adams has made in his career a lot of good albums since this plate has no chance of getting a place in the top three, but in the upper midfield she manages to loose!
