I have this steriliser Philips Avent ordered because I still have some products of this manufacturer. Now I would like to share my experience with you:
Delivery and first impression:

The sterilizer is very good and sure to wrapped. When unpacking I could find absolutely no smell of plastic, which I personally found very pleasant. The package includes the following parts:
- * - Mikrowellensterilisator (diameter 28 cm 'height 16.6 cm)
- * - Tongs
- * - Soothers (0-6 months)
- * - Measuring cup
- * - PP bottle 125ml
- * - Manual
- Since this did not fit into the microwave steriliser my mother, I would point out definitely before buying THE INTERIOR OF MICROWAVE measure !!! Otherwise it could be a nasty surprise.
Commissioning:

This device offers enough space for bottles, cups and teats. In the manual, there are also examples of how the sterilizer can be filled. Positive noticed me include the special holders for pacifiers. This can be jammed, so they do not fall over and can therefore not fill up water.
If the sterilizer is then fully, 200 ml of water must be poured. Then the lid on and the side handles to push until they make a clicking sound. These grips close the sterilizer then so dense that water does not leak. When removing the handles do not get hot, so there is no danger of burning. The duration of sterilization depends on the wattage of the microwave from your own:
- * - At 1100 W '1850 W' 2 minutes
- * - At 850 W '1000W' 4 minutes of

But in any case this is a very rapid sterilization. The manufacture also advertises that all harmful germs are killed to 99.9%. When closed, the bottle remain sterile, and can then take very well taken.
