Dance of Death is the sixth book in the series; Personally I started with volume 3 The Chamber of curiosities and I followed up last out The Cursed cruise (T8). Now my curiosity is satisfied, I will quietly enjoy the 1 and the 2, recently republished. For me, this makes the success of this series is undoubtedly the Pendergast heroes and characters that revolve around him and which are expanding as and measuring volumes. Pendergast touched me because it reminds me of the character of the fool in the cycle of The Royal Assassin Robin Hobb or Edward in Twilight of Stefenie Meyer. Of course the intigues are confusing and cultural and historical details always measured and interesting; finally, the fantasy thriller side is not displease me. I love !! Tip: start in the order, we better appreciate the evolution of the characters.
