I have in my living room, each equipped with two chandeliers 5 G9 bulbs screwed into bubbles glasses. These are the first LEDs that I find, fine enough to enter the glass balls. So I had not much choice of the model, I was tired of changing my halogen every month (yes, all my previous set of 12 lamps Halogen bought mid August Leroy Merlin toasted before mid October without making a particularly intensive use ...) - The "glass" is made of silicone, it will see if it remains transparent over time. - The most annoying detail is that the color of the lamps is not homogeneous: although officially all in "warm white" I have one that clearly pulls yellow, and two on the cold white, personal it bothers me a little but my wife does not see the difference, so everyone should not be embarrassed. - The room seems less colorful than halogens, red colors stand out less. - During abrupt or rapid movements (moving your hand in front of you, for example) one perceives a strobe effect which can be annoying for some people.
