I specify input that my perspective is that of a white, thus never faced with countless problems and annoyances that Kelman énnonce. It offers a very complete and very interesting analysis of the condition of the black in France: he lives in France but is not yet perceived as French. Through anecdotes, reflections, one perceives the magnitude of the problem, and its dramatic aspects.

This book is very nicely written and with great humor. It upsets many accepted ideas and thought-provoking about our prejudices. Almost all the analyzes and arguments seem relevant, a few isolated points that are seen close to patiale or exaggerated manner, which undermines the argument.

In addition to the various chapters of analysis, which are sometimes a little emêlés, I note that the last chapter offers interesting solutions to this situation, these solutions depend on our policies.

It closes the book quite stunned some examples, as they show some of stupidity, and also become aware of their own behavior, and the extent to which our own prejudices involved in this situation (even if one is convinced antiracist) ...
