As appeal in the previous reviews, prospective buyers should not forget to order an SAS for just 3 euros. At the first station scan without SAS also I was disappointed that several stations were not found, such as the RTL-package and some third programs, overall I had found 261 unencrypted channels. Today now built the regulator between EyeTV box and bowl (This requires yet another, short coax SAT cable because the controller two identical connectors (male / female) sitting), the knob turned to maximum attenuation (the level can be observed in the EyeTV software under Settings / Device / signal transmitter is running, now is about 80% instead of 100%), and lo and behold: suddenly the scan brought about 700 unencrypted channels to days, including the missing so far. I spend as opposed to the actual Vorrezensenten EyeTV product full 5 stars because it perfectly does its job with the regulator. The associated software for the Mac (EyeTV 3) is really awesome. I am on Windows (7) highly captivated by digital processing of recorded TV streams, but as a Software as EyeTV 3sucht really second to none: Simple interface for the purpose of removing the advertising and the export in all possible formats are done with a few mouse clicks.
