Standby power consumption: 0.3 Watt
Volume: medium loud as a hair dryer, definitely much quieter than a blender.
Through two well-insulated doors barely audible, the neighbor should not fall out of bed so.
Grind quite fast, about 10 seconds for 2 cups. The whole thing is pretty well sealed up with the cover back with rubber.
More problematic is the rather transparent bean container also can not take out.
Weight of ground coffee (ideal for French Press: 50-60g):
- 2 cups: 27g
- 6 cups: 70g (~ 1/4 Kaffebohnen a full tank)
- ~ 5 cups: 60g
The values appear to be constant, have 10x ground with 2 cups, were always 26-27g.
When filling should shake you, otherwise much less come out in the first grinding.
Of the 70g 3g fine powder, this remains at the top of the plastic container almost completely dependent and can be removed relatively easily. Something falls out after being taken out of the container, can be avoided if one knocks from behind it.
The grinding result is homogeneous, substantially more homogeneous than in the Hario hand mill (until the fine powder).
43g fine powder per kg of beans at level 9, or about 50 cents to 1 loss per 1kg pack when you dispose of the fine powder.
Much drinkers now have to calculate when to armotisiert higher value something;)
Suitability: French press to filter machine.
For me quite a good investment, since I do not need a fine powder - French Press to make the best coffee and not have the Müffel of the previous days in the drink;)
