A stable Gigabit Ethernet network, at last!

Hello,
Sometime ago, I bought a Netgear GS108 Gigabit Ethernet Switch to get faster file transfers.
But the speed increase was very limited, and unstable, hovering around ~ 50MB / s with short peaks above 100Mb / s.
With my portable using Intel 82567LM NIC, I could not connect to the switch except at a Forced 100Mb / s half duplex speed.
I used good quality short CAT5 cables, and read That thesis Might Be the issue.
Indeed ...
After switching to the CAT6 UTP cables from 1aTTack, my network is stable and transfer speeds are stable >> 500Mb / s.
The 82567LM autoconnects at 1000Mb / s full duplex.
