A successful game totally down the drain!

I am Sim City fan of the very first hour, I have already 1 played Sim City on an old 386, and 2000, 3000 and Sim City 4 and have to play in all four each spent countless hours and with joy the cards fully built to the max-Not -More.

As Sim City was 5 angekünfigt I was initially thrilled. Reviews and general information from the Internet regarding the Online coercion, however, have made me suspicious, in the end I did but then slammed because it more or less "duty" was a fan of the show and to look at the latest installment and to give him a chance.

The very first thing that struck me was the negative online compulsion. Unfortunately, the games on my laptop which is no internet on my room table is not ... It's just the office desktop. You have to install Origin which is roughly equivalent to a Trojan which you have to be on his hard drive. According to relevant online forums that thing is to spy on all sorts of information and block third-party functions. Therefore, on this machine too sensitive data such as my bank records are stored of course I was not thrilled ... Question: Why do I as an honest buyer will be punished and must be permanently online spy to be playing the game and why I have to allow my computer EA so I can play a game? That also without hingekriegt dozens of other publishers. Therefore I preferred the single player games, it does not even make sense! Online data stored do not help because I anyway can install only on a computer and the game does not "take" can.

The next problem: The server. Apparently I have to want to always play the talent when everyone else want and hang repeatedly determined in the connection window ... oh yes ... and in between while playing lubricates the connection from because probably just too many people are online. Now to the game:

It plays exactly like mans expect from Sim City. Well, then fängts to ... When you reach a certain population size, it is impossible to get traffic somehow under control. No matter how many buses, trams and whatever I insets ... the streets are always jammed, police, ambulances no longer come to their operations and the workers no longer come to their jobs. Despite flourishing commercial area I have deserted mass unemployment and companies.

I simply say once I have a little idea about Sim City because I have it also managed in SimCity 3000 and 4 easily create functioning metropolises out of nowhere, but in Sim City 5 I'm just not over a certain limit, then kicked the bucket my city every time inevitably and that's really frustrating! One builds several hours at a chic around town, you can see everything grow and then WUMS is at once all for naught because the cars stuck bumper to bumper.

I will not miss the impressive look, the sound and everything else that really stands out about this game is great talk bad but a poorly designed Spielw moose in frustration ends is for me an absolute Todschlagkriterum why this game is not fun! There were a lot of bug fixes that have however solved mainly graphical problems. The biggest problem in my opinion, that is the traffic, is still totally unacceptable and unfair. Supposedly you solve the problem using paid DLCs the problem, but how am I supposed to pay money for it that a full price game which does NOT work is patched so that it works? I'm sorry, I do not see. I have not spent 60 euros for a demo!

Yes, that describes the feeling quite well. Sim City 5 plays like a demo. You get a good idea of ​​what the game can technically but encounters thus eventually reach its limits and then can decide whether you want to buy the full version or not. Too bad that one has already gelöhnt the 60 euros to come to this realization.

My Conclusion:

Due to massive programming error an absolutely unplayable game which inevitably ends in frustration moments! Improvement is supposed to be achieved through paid DLC, but that kanns really not. From a full price game, I expect that it will work in full!

Did the game uninstalled after three unsuccessful rounds and thrown into a corner because it took me so frustrated that I now would prefer again SimCity 4 games. (By the way in the Software Pyramide fürn slim 10 to have and still offers huge gameplay!)
