Everyone who is traveling in the metal scene is, at some point stumbled ever thought about the names George Lynch and Michael Sweet or their musical output. Every Man for Himself has repeatedly proven his skills and rightly, the two are ranked among the absolute Genre sizes. With "Stryper", "Dokken" and also "Lynch Mob" have virtually done in the 80 missionary work in terms of the two Metal. But doing two such heavyweights together does not mean necessarily that can be the result even see or hear. But in this case, I can reassure you - the symbiosis of these two "Metal Dinosaurs" (respectfully meant) has worked wonderfully. Supported by such prominent supporters like James Lorenzo (White Lion, Megadeth) and Brian Tichy (Whitesnake) have "Sweet & Lynch" carved out a proper pounds. "Only to rise" has become a very harmonious and varied album where I really could not see any weaknesses. We do not need to discuss the voice of Michael Sweet, who has what it suspend is not quite tight and has no idea of music - BASTA! However, the three on the instruments to make a flawless job - that's the music in "high-end sector," a lot more no longer goes there! Coinciding with the brilliant opener "The Wish" They picked me up right, taken and drawn up at the end under her spell - the thing has this nasty catchy, so I like that! "Dying rose", "Time will tell", "Rescue Me", "September" and "Recover" are all pieces have a Stryper / Dokken touch - well, what a surprise? :-) With "Love stays" and "Me Without You" ballad two pieces are the concerns at the start for pleasant diversion. make towards the end "Strength in Numbers", "Hero Zero" and the title track "Only to rise" from a good album a very good album! Especially the title track goes from really good times and, together with "The wish" for me the best song on the album.
Conclusion: If you like music a la Dokken and Stryper can go wrong with this album nothing! The songs feature all through varied arrangements and catchy melodies. Also vocally and musically there is nothing wrong, the guys know what, and especially how they have to do it!
