After World War II, the bubbly Juliet Ashton, author, made a promotional tour in England for his latest work. Contacted by an unknown capita Guernsey about a book that once belonged to him, Juliet discovers the curious circle litérraire that exists on the Island and attanchante history of its members.
This original and easy romance lets have a good time. Ideal to change the ideas and boost morale after the sad reading "Brodeck Report" for example. The end is however a bit disappointing because the author seems rushed and proposes an end a little sloppy and devoid of the charm of beginning.
The epistolary form is quite interesting even if we are a little surprised by the rapidity of the time of Poste (now should be inspired as it is quite stupendous!).
Short, sweet book that allows you to relax. Refrain from talking with fans literrature but maybe recommended for those who like to read without taking the head?
