Mass Effect 3 was certainly one of the most anticipated titles this year. I loved ME1, due to the balanced mix of action and role-play with depth. ME2 (under the direction of EA) was much more action-packed, but there were still RPG elements and a lot of freedom. This freedom of the players was deprived entirely in ME3. The talks ultimately take all the same shape, it does not matter what you answer, because the result is always: pull out guns and shoot through. There was not a single scene in which one had a shootout with clever reply can deal. The mini-games within the missions are completely disappeared (hacking, etc.). Instead, they kill stupid AI's from the only and are dangerous only because of their mass. The teammates waive (in good old tradition ME) on fire protection and prefer to stay stuck in the graphic. This leads to another point of criticism: Bugs. The game locks up very often and makes what the graph relates in some places an unfinished impression. Mass Effect is ultimately a Third Person Shooter genre has become the standard weapon mods and armor options. But that just is not enough! I do not know why it has taken the players all the freedom ?! One can only on a single planet (Citadel) land ?! Another problem is the story that starts in medias res and rolls over it. The Reaper take the Galaxy a ... All right, but why did you have to make all the time with his team strange trips to the Citadel in bright sunshine. It just does not come to feel the end of the galaxy was imminent. For gameplay can not say much, since it was taken directly from Mass Effect 2. Overall the game is a disappointment. Nevertheless, it has its (few) moments in which one still feels a touch of RPG. Therefore 2 stars. (The bugs are unacceptable for a finished retail version!)
