A terrific small foretaste of the new album

Nemo (Audio CD)

Customer Review

If one is based on the "Nemo" single, the album can only be splendid. With the advance track from "Once" Nightwish come bombastic than ever through the speakers, with a stunning, symphonic filled sound. The song has everything that makes the band so extraordinary: Lyrical piano part, plain held stanzas, Breaks, choir places of indescribable bass of Marco Hietala, who convinced since the previous album "Century Child", and of course Tarja Turunen's lyrical as powerfull vocals, the is as such no description justice. The erhabende Chorus comes with a strong melody, stunning sound density, magnificent backing Vocals- arrangements and heavy guitars to usual good and is now firmly in the ear.
For the new album Nightwish have collaborated with the London Session Orchestra, which has already recorded the soundtracks to "Lord Of The Rings" and "Harry Potter". They are involved in 9 out of 11 songs. And a decent taste, there are now already with an additional ballad-like orchestral version of "Nemo". The impressive contrast to standard strings from the computers can be heard immediately. Wonderful, how sublime the chorus is, and what an impact the interplay between orchestra and solo guitar arises.
With "Live To Tell the Tale", a jaunty song with decent Drive and sophisticated drama, also an exclusive track is represented on the CD, which it will not be on the album.
And yet there is an incentive to buy: The "Nemo" video (MPEG format) shows the band in a mysterious and sinister computer-generated atmosphere in a snowy mountain landscape.
