Mary Higgins Clark has a great reputation in the field of crime fiction. But this novel is probably an accident in production because here we are far, very far even Simenon or Agatha Christie. I actually had the unpleasant impression of reading a novel station with stereotyped characters and dialogues.
Considering the outcome of the plot we can certainly recognize the expertise of a specialist. But it does not save positive from my point of view, only a few pages and does not allow all to escape mediocrity.
