Highlander is a real cult classic and a must for any fantasy lover - even if the film takes place over most of the time in modern New York. The film has just about everything a film needs: lots of action and suspense, the right dose of humor, the right dash of romance, a balanced - although sometimes fairly straightforward - plot and a brilliant idea behind the whole. For this, the brilliant come crossfading between modernity and the past, in the Scottish Highlands, and the rather bizarre characters, which are set by excellent actors in scene. For me remains only one flaw: The synchronization of dying Heather. Unfortunately, this scene is also after the 16th time on me still attached and artificial. But let's not be petty - Queens "Who wants to live forever" tears eh everything out again ...
