Bruno Mars, with its debut album, an eclectic mix of songs about happy and unhappy love coupled with a wide range of different genres. So he uses, for example in Liquor Store Blues Reggae varieties while also influences Soul shows at The Other Side.
Its rich diversity is also reflected in the rhythm. Thus, in addition up-tempo songs like Runaway Baby with Talking To The Moon also quiet ballad on the album.
This makes the songs all very different and proves how great Bruno Mars' musical range is. The instrumental accompaniment with RnB-typical beats is well done. However, the instruments never cover while Bruno's outstanding voice, he would have no way conceal it needed about the songs. Who has heard him sing live before that can confirm all the more.
What of course always a decisive factor: The album is not only 2-3 good songs, I personally consider a single for a gap filler. So it pays to actually buy the whole album and not just individual songs, since an otherwise missed many good titles.
Doo-Wops & Hooligans is a great album and lets hope that Bruno Mars is still in the future with other brilliant songs his great talent. The album is definitely worth the money!
