Developed exclusively for the new Sony handheld console, this component has undeniable qualities beginning with its mind blowing plastic. Never a portable game had been able to impress much. This bodes very good things for the future of the Vita.
The gameplay is the classic small but intelligently distills exploiting new features of the console. The touch and gyroscope and allow to fight hand-to-hand or calibrate its aim with sniper rifles without this being an obligation. Indeed, nothing prevents the player to cross the 10h of adventures offered by Golden Abyss without resorting to this alternative gameplay.
A good ten minutes then, where we will cross unfortunately too little varied landscapes to which it should add a few extra hours to find all the treasures scattered throughout the levels.
Anyway, Uncharted: Golden Abyss is undeniably successful. It is a bit less epic or varied as the PS3 shutters but for a first attempt, we can only welcome the work of developers who have managed to deliver a high-flying production.
