A writer to pen sensual, poetic and exciting story that a story on the border between reality and fantasy that proves to be exciting and intriguing. The characters are really well constructed and above all, through their wounds and their suffering, deeply human. The author also offers the reader interesting reflections on our society, loneliness, religions etc ... As against this is a book at slow pace so if you like the nervous books go your way. I just regret certain passages a bit prudish and also the fact that having little knowledge of Japan some manners of the characters do not necessarily me passionate.
