A vacuum cleaner hose correct but not quite adjusted to our product

We bought this pipe to replace the original one of our Rowenta Silence Force vacuum cleaner
At first sight it is identical to the original one of our vacuum cleaner (except a small 2mm shoulder that makes all the difference. In use there are significant losses at connections with the vacuum cleaner and butt the fitting at the location of the bag. It will overcome this problem by placing a little to each end O-ring
Aside from the problem of adaptation it seems that the product is well made but only time will tell if it will be as strong as the original hose ROWENTA
