True radio stations do not exist in watchdogs. Who has been looking forward to incredibly funny and cryptic posts from the car radio as they are in the GTA series on the agenda, is so disappointed. But the game has a very extensive song list that is played when boarding a vehicle at random;
I was able to unlock new entries by the hacking of music equipment in shops and skip songs unloved. As regards the latter, I had in the test but never once occasion, because the soundtrack is consistently great and covers a lot of different music genres from. Especially the perfectly matching städischen backdrop piece "Cold Night in Chicago" I liked it, but it is made for relaxed cruising almost at night, while the rain gently patters on the car roof. On foot and in the missions watchdog relies on instrumental music accompaniment that does not need to hide from the sung parts and the slightly futuristic hacker Setting underlines very nice.
At the technology and game mechanics of watchdogs there is absolutely nothing to complain about, yet it can not withstand its own hype. It is downright incomprehensible how little the game uses its realistic setting in narrative terms. We live in an almost completely networked world where identity theft is always a big issue and watchdogs can not make it anyway, to build a bridge to the player.
When has watchdogs from one thing enough, then there is untapped potential. Hopefully Ubisoft can make better use of the definite plans successors - then Watchdogs 2 is not "only" an extremely entertaining open-world action game. But the large firecrackers, the milestone, the GTA-conqueror, who would be happy to have the first fruits.
