Highlights: intense picture
- Full HD (1920x1080 65Hz): very good image sharpness. The difference in quality between DVD and Blu-Ray is obvious. Especially if it displays the image on a diagonal of almost 3 meters!
- Effective 3D mode (3D sources)
- Rich and vibrant colors. The brightness is particularly high. Of course, we use it in the dark, but extra light is not excluded.
- Very good reactivity: no annoying lag in games (FPS etc.). Quick Start (less than a minute, with a few extra minutes to fully ramp up).
- Relatively quiet: no worries for movies, but also great meeting (where it does not put any background noise).
- Connectors supplied enough, but in reality I just use the HDMI
Limits: complex settings, HD entry
- At this price, no horizontal axis projection setting (lens shift) he will think you have put the projector faces the screen. You can still adjust the trapezoid or inverted projection set (for ceiling placement). In general, this projector requires very precise placement to realize its potential.
- Perfectible sharpness: right in the center but fuzzy around the edges. Even slight moiré border.
- Lamp life: we are talking about a few thousand hours, between 2 and 5 years of your use (I'm from 1000, without degradation). The LED lamp models that remove this constraint are still very expensive.
- Some dust appeared on the internal lens, impossible to dislodge
- The speaker remains anecdotal (for troubleshooting, and again).
- Converting 2D> 3D gimmick, it works pretty well, but we renounce fast enough to use it.
Conclusion: an excellent price / quality ratio to dive into the home theater. Note that the price has fallen since the initial release (2013?) And should logically be soon replaced in the range (hopefully the lens-shift?). Less than 550, this is a business opportunity!
