But the biggest disappointment are the lyrics.
Some Examples:
- "The man is the problem."
Mind it Udo earlier issues of contemporary history and the rivalry between the sexes smart wink to pack ("A worthy house"), then "The man ..." simply cheap ingratiating plea of guilty to feminism.
- "My Goal."
"My goal is always to have a goal."
And this flat sense lasts almost 6 minutes.
- "Bird in a cage"
Udo wants to be free.
Oh yes, just like in 1989, "Without Mask" at the (strong) Song: "singer in chains."
- "The Transparent Man.
And once again a critical song about the Internet. First Udos view as very one-sided, and secondly, he has done it better ("You're seen through" to "I Do not Know").
The whole album sounds as if a talented "Idol" - Gewinner-- "I make time to Udo Jürgens" - get the chance to record a UJ album.
Sorry, Udo: "In Real Life" is musically and lyrically very weak!
That there is not only 1 star, which is at the final song "Ten to Eleven": tranquil, autobiografisch-- very strong!
