On the form, there are virtually no complaints as everything (or almost) is done to close the player.
- The graphics are beautiful to cry, 2D and 3D, without any slowdown.
- The music are numerous, varied and epic.
- The characters are rarely shown as talkative in a Nintendo game, with humorous dialogues and "madness".
- The single player campaign contains many chapters offer an excellent level design. Note that the difficulty is configurable on multiple levels, with special rooms and more powerful treasures.
- Online multiplayer mode is very comprehensive, with fights as a team and as a general melee. Note that the online ranks weapons can beings used in the single player campaign and are very useful when increasing the difficulty of the chapters.
- Content is simply amazing with many weapons (and grants) to win / buy / combine / share, augmented reality cards collectible (probably appeal to younger), 120 "trophies" to release under certain conditions from mini-games.
In short, we are dealing with a game whose form was widely pampered to entice the player and offer him a new experience and new rewards to each of its parts.
One can only criticize the lack of a French dubbing, as non-English speakers will be hard to follow the subtitles in the heat of the moment ... and may miss the history and dialogues. Which is rather a shame ...
Concerning the grip, my impressions are a little more mixed.
- Flight Phases slightly reminiscent of 'Starfox' or 'Sin and punishment: Successor of the Skies'. And for those phases of the game (with automatic camera), under the pen is extremely convincing.
- However, the handling is more difficult phases in the ground, particularly because of two problems.
The first point concerns the camera, which was a little difficult to manage with the stylus. To be honest, I can not understand why Nintendo has merely compatibility "limited" with the pro [1] Circle Pad, while it was possible to propose a grip with both sticks. This idea has already proven (including Resident Evil: Revelations), and it would probably have to gain comfort and precision. Options "support" for the reporting are proposed but this is a palliative that does not quite taste the same.
The second point concerns the evasive movements, not necessarily obvious to "dosed" with the analog stick. A "vagueness" that you may be worth a few lost balls or some unintentional falls, when your character "Dashera" accidentally near a ditch ...
Note that with the game is also provided a base which will prevent you to hold the console with one hand.
Nintendo has here given the criticisms that had been made for the Nintendo DS FPS (including Metroid Prime Hunters).
Certainly, you must have access to a table or shelf, but we must recognize that the accessory effectively relieves wrist.
Six augmented reality cards are also included with the game.
Finally, Kid Icarus is a frankly friendly game but the player will have to deal with a sometimes problematic playability.
Those who are willing to accept this "defect" can enjoy a game of rare wealth ... and is much more ambitious than most current production of Nintendo.
Hopefully an update will be proposed to solve this problem, at least for owners of a circular pad pro ...
