Seven years has become the doyen of left Newcastle time to make and publish the sophomore from his latest album "Soul of a Man" finished. The man with the distinctive voice who can celebrate his 72nd birthday in May 2013 proves with "'Til Your River Runs Dry" that he may be getting old, but still far from the' heard the scrap heap; or even to flirt a bit with the album title: It is hoped that Eric Burdon river (good songs to write and interpret) far will dry up. Many very personal pieces from his own pen make the album worth listening to a station. He has produced it together with Tony Braunagel who has already finished the last two great studio albums of Eric Burdon and. The goosebumps ballad "Forever 27" is a deeply moving, wonderful reminder of all the died much too early, great musicians at the legendary 'Club 27' and one of my favorite tracks on the album. With the Blue Number "Bo Diddley Special" not only Burdon's personal tribute to his idol on the album is represented, but with "Before you accuse me" even a successful Bo Diddley cover version of a true classic. Even better, as it has Eric Clapton made his day. The music on "'Til Your River Runs Dry" is pure blues and rock and roll and Eric Burdon's body remains unmistakable, powerful and well!
