A worthy goodbye!

FOREWORD
The journey continues and by the city lights, the eighth and unfortunately last studio album called Gipfelstürmer of Unholy has now been published two years later.
I am one of the lucky ones, the allowed 12.11.2014 hold the album in hand on Thursday. Now I have intensively consulted Gipfelstürmer several times, both with a good music system as well as with studio headphones and have to say one thing first: The audio quality is absolutely top and definitely the best of all the albums of the count. Unholy here presents us with a concept that is linked very well with his musical farewell. Namely, the mountain as a musical life up to the summit as a highlight of his career. Here, the path is taken several times with the engine, which gives the dish a nice character. The cover of the album is in my opinion also very well done. The artistic design with the selected colors fit perfectly to Unholy.

THE MOUNTAIN
The locomotive rings the ride a mountain and to the Count holds his hand to the listener. He asks ride it and to accompany him on the trip to the summit. A slow build with a beat of the impression conveyed by forward passes in liberating guitar riffs and definitely makes you want more of the album. The wisdom of Life

This fast-paced and melodic rock song with electric influences worked musically at the beginning very unusual for Unholy. But the true value of this song unfolds only after repeated listening! Lyrically plays the Earl here with the echo synonymous with a valuable human being at his side, whom he can trust and honest and helpful is if he does not know how to continue and advice needed. A love song with great lyrics and this time without ballad - great!

MEINBERG
In Meinberg is musically everything between ballad, electric, rock and pop it. The Count tells us that any man to mount his own mountain in life and we must not forget who accompanied us. The language is very direct, which is probably it is, however, that the Count wanted to find clear and honest words here. The chorus draws an immediately under the spell, because it contains a lot of truth, and is musically accompanied outstanding.

GOLD RUSH
The noise for gold as a synonym for the search for happiness is very well done with other metaphors! Unholy proves here once more that she can not! These loud, loud number with heavy guitars and deep singing animated the audience to departure!

Unholy presents us here with Gipfelstürmer an album that has a lot to offer with quiet and soulful ballads, meaningful electro-pop songs to dance, as well as hard rock numbers to departure. That may be a wide range, but Unholy is the distinctive voice of the Count in each song unique. Many songs entwalten their true value only at the second or third listening.
The musical journey of Unholy has now found its end by climbing the summit and created with the album Gipfelstürmer a great work with only minor weaknesses, which represents the departure of the band absolutely worthy.
