According impartially I could answer it in this band. After "All Ends" I was wondering what kept this variant of the "Sweden-Metals" ready.
The first album hit me with a right.
The Nexus
After Bock Buster "Amaranthe" and a non-self-inflicted unfortunate appearance in Hamburg Grünspann - now as a second support band to Stratovarious- I had to hear the second album.
At first I had doubts whether they were able to maintain the level of the first album, because it happens again and again, the artists start strong and mediocre continue (see Linkin Park between Hybrid Theory and The Hunting Party).
But my doubts were quickly passed.
In my opinion, Amaranthe have their own level yet raised with your second long-player and "All Ends" displaces final.
Conclusion:
Clearly buy recommendation!
One complaint I had to find in retrospect but:
The band should keep away from the video shoot or hire someone who also recognize the meaning behind the songs.
Example: "Burn with Me"
A song which tells the inner longing for a soul mate, to be able to connect with a partner at a higher level to the need, when "only" love or friendship.
The statement "Burn with me" is ultimately as a clear message in the room what the one wants the other: compassion, understanding ...
"... When I feel bad I want you to feel with me ...."
It has nothing to do with a car accident, a fire department and disengaging a burning wreck only to fire to get into the picture to get a pathetic attempt the curve track.
So here is clearly the director - incidentally the same one who turned the other HAT mindless videos no idea.
Just a pity that the band has to be misled.
The only video that fits in my eyes perfect for the band to "Amaranthine".
Reduced to the essential are without disturbing backstory, a style of enough room for lyrical freedom.
