Absolutely beautiful score an absolutely beautiful game

Thanks to the New 3DS remakes I'm currently able to enjoy the fantastic J-RPGs, which at the time I could not play the absence of a Wii. As an avid video game music collector I arrived but even then not help me zuzulegen the score of the game. I am thus ironically been 2 years in the possession of the music which is really very good and much contributes to the feel of the game.

The composer of the game, the group ACE +, and Manami Kiyota and Yasunori Mitsuda (which the credit song "Beyond the Sky" contributes) and no less than the legendary Yoko Shimomura! As many cooks spoil this not the broth? Nope- because similar to the soundtrack to "Kid Icarus: Uprising" was this diverse collaboration not only creative fruit all the pieces together to form a homogenous whole! Where you can assign Shimomura's pieces clearly (Anyone who knows her style is already able to derive solely from the Battle Theme parallels to Kingdom Hearts).

Otherwise, you get exactly what you know of the game just:

Epic sounds, Emotional captivating pieces, rocking Battle Themes, adorable / dreamy city issues (which already during the game to entice humming), Wonderful overworld music and gloomy / mystical dungeon themes. Add to that a beautiful, yet deeply sad spine-tingling Main Theme and voila: A fantastic, all-round successful Games Core at its finest! Only the closing song "Beyond the Sky" I did not like. Because this is (typical for the genre) pretty cheesy (bad memories of "Eyes on Me" and "Kiiizzz Mii, Gutt-In" are awake).

What also stands out is the large number of vocal tracks. These are all (to just "Beyond the Sky") date back to the computer. Nevertheless sounds very well received and an untrained ear might get the not with also.

My absolute highlights are:

The Main Theme, Gaur Plain (Day), Colony 9 (Day), Sartol Marsh (Night), You Will Know Our Names, Zanza (absolutely awesome), and the droll Frontier Village (Day / Night) - for me the theme of Nopon! Similar to the Uematsu-motives to the chocobos and Moogles ^^

There are several other Ear Candy's (there are, after all, 91 tracks). But these are all cases Anspieltipps the four CDs.

Conclusion:

Who already knows the music from the game here and they liked (if not loved) can safely access here! Interested, I would nevertheless advise first trial where a listen (is always a matter of taste). I liked the score as already mentioned very much, and after playing the famous games he does it all the more! Anyway, is looking forward to the purchase of the soundtrack for the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X fixed! This is not more of Shimomura and co but komponiert- for by Hiroyuki Sawano !!! And this is likely to anime fans through his gigantic soundtracks for "Attack on Titan," "Kill La Kill" and "Guilty Crown" or "Aldnoah.Zero" be well known!

Personally, I am of course immensely to Shimomura's score for Final Fantasy XV, which sounds very promising (based on what wurde- just published in recent years, most recently the demo to FF XV).

Therefore, a full recommendation!
