1) The jacket is black and opaque.
2) The cable makes an extremely gum-like and very uncertain impression. Heavy it is not. It feels really only after plastic.
3) intermediate loop and terminal can be seen on the rubber over the steel cable. It consists of several very thin and twisted steel ropes. Thus rainwater pass under the Ummatelung. Directly at the terminal, it is unraveled by the pressure, it looks soon broke out. I can not compare, but the steel cable provides for no more than 3 mm from.
Since it does not correspond to the description and overall leaves a rather bad impression, I'll probably send it back.
With the cable you will be able to secure reasonable hardly any accessories or otherwise. It's too short and the loops are loops etc. too thick. For bicycles, mopeds, etc. I would not even take that as an additional safeguard. It is specially still advertised for just such things.
Even the relatively low price does not justify such a lousy quality.
Can not understand why ABUS so bring a crap on the market. The leaves appear at once the other ABUS products in a very different light.
And I can not understand why what of "extremely safe and for professionals hardly to crack" can be read here in reviews. There probably lacked a Sarkasmus- or irony notice ?!
