- Story 3.5 / 5
The main story of Revelations is short. Quite good and even exciting, but too short. This is especially the fact that no optional conditions for the continuation of the story are needed. In other words, you do not need x Meisterassassaninen, must not mission groups (Roma, thieves, mercenaries) do, conquer any festivals and otherwise nothing meet the next chapter unlock. Although less coercion is sometimes pretty, but I had problems in addition to the main Story pull all the other things. Hey presto you stand in front of the guy and wonders why one can run easily through the game so, and I have not even seen the mercenary. The Master Assassin missions are also very well done and deepen the story background a lot. Too bad that one has to look for the targeted, so many players have seen not at all before the end credits.
- Sound 2.5 / 5
As you are used to from the previous else. Right here, one wonders, why is not operated Revelations as in all other areas as well at Brotherhood / AC2. Since even the movements of the Assassin recruitment are the same Brotherhood, but the sound they have forgotten to copy.
- Gameplay 3/5
Everything as usual, plus the comic innovations bombs and hook blade. The blade replaces the climbing jump and makes so much easier. The bombs are nice, but why when you can blow away a whole patrol use to deflect so easily? Of all the trailers I would have expected more because it looks more like trying to sell a small innovation as a major breakthrough, because otherwise you have nothing better.
Here Revelations has a good big news that unfortunately totally goes down: hard defense!
A fun little tower defense game, which is fun and this even requires a little bit of skill. Where else only a difficulty is created by the stupid camera angle while climbing in the crypts, that's a good change from the barren-blocking counter-attack series carnage of battles. The combat system could tolerate a little love.
Unfortunately, saw the gentlemen from Ubisoft differently and have hyped bombs and implements the defenses only as a secondary matter. The same applies to the Mediterranean defense. A nice approach to fight on the world map against the Templars, but unfortunately only minimally improved compared to Brotherhood. It could yet make a kind Assassin risk.
- Desmond levels 3.5 / 5
Well, it's something else, but he could tell even more. In addition, you can switch the Level 5 free quasi beside the first 2 sequences, because you need a lot too little Animusfragmente .. 30 100 to a manageable map as Konstantin Opel times really no comparison to the Truth glyphs predecessor. Instead much Geklettere and Search you'll think of only the necessary fragments.
- Graphic 4/5
Revamped graphics predecessor and faces a good deal were better again. Sometimes a wrong / oblique textures disrupt in-game sequences, for example, Ahmed's sword that constantly bend or skirt of Sofia. Something disturb the atmosphere and should quality assurance but notice immediately and repair.
- Multiplayer 3.5 / 5
For me, Assassin's Creed is not a MP game and although the multiplayer is very nicely done and quite funny too, he binds me no longer than a couple of days. The game mechanics can unfortunately not much.
Conclusion:
It was clear from the outset that there is no third part but more like Brotherhood a great addon. Unfortunately, you realize this clearly: Where is Da Vinci? Why only 3 armor sets, of which you can not afford to match the end anyway only 2? Why drölfzig several bombs (with sometimes useless or functions) but little love for festivals / Mediterranean defense?
It is hoped that the third part will not get beaten this year. Even though ingame sets the world in October, I want real, have pronounced innovations. After 3 games I hang out the same old processes to the neck.
All in all you can recommend fans of the series the game, but who is looking for a pseudo-sandbox game, in which there are at each corner something to discover, which is unfortunately wrong here.
