I have found great Assassins Creed 2 and despite the monotony of a certain playing time all researched what was possible. Brotherhood and Revelations were trying to play me from setting too similar to it with the same perseverance.
That's why I wanted to get anyway at AC3 again.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

- As early as the first sequences coarser bugs, and I speak now not of floating muskets or limbs that stuck or horse-drawn carriage driving through walls in objects.

Great that both speech and subtitles will be displayed in all major languages. (As some may BluRay - Publication take an example.)

- Opponents are just as smart as in AC2 ;-) Although they act much (talk, move, sit, play, work ...) but rarely do they react really plausible or as intended: sometimes one is groundless striking although well hidden / camouflaged, sometimes killing JMD. in view of the enemy and nothing happens. In head-high corn field one is discovered in the 30cm high scrub not.

PRO:

For the soundscape is terrific! Whether crunchy snow underfoot, creaking wood, animal sounds, carts, mud, rain, wind whistles around cliffs, breakwaters, the clatter of boards, you really get the feeling of standing right in the forest or on the deck of a ship.

- The maritime missions: an absolute highlight of the game out!
The ship control is working mightily and is still simple! It would be like a child with his Playmobil pirate ship and I would say the fun and uniqueness to ride it is an experience and id videogame history to be set very high up.
It is breathtaking. The spray, the waves on the high seas, the shouts of the crew, the bustle, the rigging you are the Captain! :)

CONCLUSION:

Even if the secret Kills are nicely done (hayrides, around the corner), and this AC is anything but a Splinter Cell. That's a shame, because just as Assassin must stealth action work better. Where it would be a great challenge (eg. Forts infiltrate), it works just not really, it degenerates almost always made in a battle. Schleich missions are unpredictable and a matter of luck, despite many coverage options. So it goes unnoticed despite gunshots and explosions, often but not if you look at hiding behind a tree or in the branches. So unfortunately immature as ever.
The setting of AC3 is great but does not in my opinion quite as much or other flavor than AC2, which in general is due to the different era.

AC3 consists of many coincidences and is overall very confused: weapons disappear from the Waffenrad, marks / logos / guards / missions are displayed although there nothing (more) is.

It just hangs at the beginning of an ongoing id air side missions always sound as if you could actively but what companies eigentl. is much simple random and passive (eg find track of the bear). Eventually you stumble over it and stop it is done without any real intervention, which is not satisfactory.

The map changes frequently and displays new symbols. If you do not constantly the cards and all submenus checked out you know nothing about it.

For example, you get first things (milk, clay, hats,) od messages like System Message:. New email received only appear nowhere on this, not even id inventory. So one wonders what rightly, and remains long unaware until hours later (at random) is cleared od. It encounters.
It is zieml of the game. left alone, right from the start is valid until the end of learning by doing, over 80% of the things that you can do, or discover one stumbles only in any of the many menus. There is not a tutorial or a Trainigsarena as in AC2.
Bin only after 50 hours draufgekommen by chance on new moves. (One can also throw blunt weapons, swinging axes harder and use counter in conjunction with the dart!)

The systematics behind the menus reveals itself only gradually, as ever pass easily the first 15h. Until something new in one of the sub-items or the tooltips appears.
This unfortunately brings with it, that minimum. as much time on the menu and Kartenbidschirmen spends as in origin. Game.
Relatively quickly it uses the Fast Travel System also for shorter distances (the loading screen you get very often to see), because you just want to fritter away any more time.

Absolutely necessary ship of all the equipment, trade, manufacture of objects and edification of the community, Assassins, information, countless side quests and hundreds of collections is nothing. AC3 kills one with a flood of options, but these are not used, not even during the individual missions.

Satisfied is only the collector's passion, to have at least done it all once.

Probably you can play through the game with the basic equipment and would not have trouble. Even those who look for challenges, is not served well with the game, to the lack of the need in the game.

However, if you simply fun to experiment, will not hesitate to move in this world and probably gamble not only the main line of the story.

But even if all this looks great, it's mostly just nice accessories that should not blind us to many shortcomings.
In the end, no longer remains soo much left after a very good looks and great animations. Although it is a huge ambitious project that sees the game well, but you always have the feeling that 5o teams have started at different ends and have not really met in the middle. Maybe that explains this inconsistent and extremely confused (and also very verbugte) game.

For all these reasons I do not give AC 3 While the top grade but an experience not to be missed, it's all even if it is quite boring but again towards the end and with all its side missions. There, despite the shortcomings too many wow moments: in Story, equipment, graphics and atmosphere.

ps: The experiment with the pivots after finishing the game is only a waste of time! That it exists at all for a trophy, is almost chicane. It is only more beams from a quick trip to the nearest station and really has nothing to do with games.
