"In the face of death" marked a new thought in terms of Bond music. Duran Duran were to achieve with the Bond films again a younger audience, chosen because they were especially at the Teenis IN. Along with Bond composer John Barry strain they created one of the best 007-title songs, who promptly landed in the US No. 1 on the charts. John Barry's penultimate Bond score is a diversified, the drama, excitement and action in the film skillfully packaged in music, this time particularly through the use of bass, trombone and guitar, making already Track 2 "Snow Job" terrific. The tense, dynamic tracks predominate though, the Thriller Feeling bring across well, but even if Barry times emotional, romantic tones strikes as with Track 4 "Bond meets Stacy" and track 10 "Wine with Stacy," the music always hits full nerve. Judging, however, by the terms of action and thrill, for standing the Bond films, Barry met these points with this score in 1985 as well as since his score to "Her Majesty's Secret" in 1969 no longer.
