Well, I have both cameras directly compared with the same parameters and the same objective and must say that I have noticed no major differences. Clear images of the 500d are higher, but qualitatively my 350d is her equal.
However, I must say that the camera has huge weaknesses in some parameters:
- Point I the image parameters in a very sharp, so the image quality suffers noticeably lower. I do this not so the photos are quite blurry.
- From ISO 800 images noise noticeably. Especially the new setting ISO 3200 is hard to use. Even in bright rooms dark spots of the image noise so strong that ISO is actually not to use 3200.

Autofocus:

Since I do not yet have this feature in the 350d, I can only judge what I see here. This feature looks at the screen from great, but is only interesting for the majority, as the problem of the autofocus has been resolved. There are now three ways to auto focus adjust.
