After unpacking the camera, I was immediately taken and the quality of the (often criticized) plastic housing is in my opinion properly and looks durable. Unusual was naturally first the handling because I'm used to the 15-85er Canon EOS 600D with Canon USM lens. The foldable display, I felt very sluggish and I did meet my expectations realized that I am the way, this is not to be able to turn to miss, probably.
For a first test I have done on a sunny day in each case the same images with the Sony and my Canon and was impressed by the image quality of the Sony. Sharpness, color reproduction and especially the overall impression of the images were those of the EOS not after. So the anticipation only grew to a higher quality accessory lens for Sony. It should be the SEL P18105G E PZ 18-105.
Unfortunately, there have always been problems connecting the Sony Galaxy with my Samsung Note 3, so I had to classify the Android software from Sony as almost unusable. The connection of the devices broke repeatedly made off for me not herauszufindenden reasons.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity, combining Alpha 6000 and 18-105 lens to at least take in the hand before buying and found out that the combination of very small camera, very large compared to the lens and my rather large hands does not fit. I had spontaneously feel like can not get used to it and not wanting it. For me it was unacceptable then, when I did a test with a holding additionally plugged Metz 44AF-1 flash. A handling that unfortunately is completely unbalanced.
A search for other lenses made for me also the realization that very good quality for this camera is very expensive very quickly. But this I do not want to blame the camera, because I purchase, this should have noticed at a grundlicheren search.
Operating the camera with her - I call split it twice double - menus, was not really my cup of tea, but would have been no reason for me to return the camera as a transition from one manufacturer to another always adaptation and habituation effects with itself brings.
My personal conclusion: A (from a technical standpoint seen) Top-camera with a handling that does not fit at least for me. Anyone toying with the purchase, should take the 6000 Sony Alpha sure before buying into their own hands and not - like me - strike quickly at a Christmas offer.
