My first temporary abutment consists of a Nikon D800, a Micro-Nikkor 55 / 3.5 with Ring PK-13 (27.5 mm). The Diakopieradapter just fits on the 52mm filter thread and you can get started right away. To focus one needs a lot of light, and I have taken for a flat LED light from the hardware store for 5 Euro. I use a copy stand and place the LED light on the panel. ISO 200, Aperture 8 and 1 / 2s works well. Remote Shutter is actually not necessary since the Diakopieradapter's firmly connected to the camera. I work to focus with Live View.
There are some handling problems yet, so a star deduction. The entire device can be rotated freely and just be aware already that the slides are inserted not completely wrong. Blind does not work that way, anyway. In addition, the focus shifted in manual Micro-Nikkor because the tube slowly pulls down when put on and take fumbling the slides. Anyway, I do not trust the sharpness is not blind, but controlling them in every shot. Since the tube can take off, I always work up to the stop, at least not having to also adjust still here. The slide is then though not full, but that can be so easily cropping in post processing.
The biggest shortcoming is in any case a missing set screw so that the tube does not rotate or you have it not quite take off. A corresponding locking screw on the lens is also missing, but that's not the fault of the adapter. Anyway, for a deduction of points.
A filmstrip holder could also be accompanied by, and you get yourself a third-party separately.
