So far, I was not a "real" Herbert Grönemeyer fan and have also rather rare German music heard, but this album is one of the few exceptions, and is already one of my favorite CDs in my music collection, because joins a catchy tune to the other here , Attention I was on "Permanent Now" to become by the official YouTube video "Catch me", a song that got stuck once in ear, brain and heart, and let already pay the vague idea in me, I listen to this album times and possibly buy. This idea was, "Tomorrow", reinforced by the next video, that I encountered and eventually led me to Herbert Grönemeyer's official website where I 'purely heard in the songs and my mind then immediately, this special edition with four bonus tracks on the Amazon link to order - a purchase that I have not regretted a single second! In addition to these two titles that were, so to speak, the "trigger" for my order, "Wonderful emptiness" "fire light" were, "Our Land", "I love me by", "Pilot" and especially "New Day" a song that moved me several times while listening to tears, almost at first listen to my personal favorite, and have remained. After repeated listening to crystalline allied "uniform", "The Low", "Lost" and "agree", a composition by Annette Humpe out as more earwigs. Still, I would not have a title on the album as "weak" or "second-rate" refer to, but it really is for each individual song to great music full of beautiful, catchy melodies and a great heat, both emotionally touching very deep. The only, minimal, Kriktikpunkte that have occurred to me, relate to two grammatical errors: On "uniform" it would have to "I'll to terrorists" instead of "the terrorist" (probably for reasons of Reims chosen so) hot and on "Lost" Grönemeyer uses an incorrect past tense, because "weighed" only refers to the weight, otherwise it has "rocked" hot. Musically the songs move between a hopeful serenity and a slight melancholy and content they touch subjects as diverse as love, football and xenophobia. Overall, "Steady now," ie a thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended album.
