One has no longer tell that Hardwell is one of the most influential DJs of the decade and is his album in the genre Techno one of the most important this year. "United We Are" is a good album, which has good quality and many fans or non-fans will like. The intro song "Eclipse" is an ingenious introduction and a truly majestic entry. On such a high level, "United We Are" does not hold but then what quite to my expectations, as I looked at the features. Publish that DJs whole album with almost all vocal participation is indeed a perpetual trend and always something unsatisfactory for me. There are really good vocal features of DJs (eg "Got It" by Boys Noize & Snoop Dogg or "Professinal Griefers" by deadmau5 & Gerard Way) but most simply method over and over again after the David Guetta-principle: 1. Beat announce Can sing 2. Text 3. Refrain build + Drop 4. catchy synthesizer & Kick Drum Part 5. Repeat 1-4 once or twice In addition, it is really strange that the voices of the singers almost always sound the same. Despite these nagging is "United We Are" of course not a bad album. Especially tracks like "Where Is Here Now" or "Do not Stop The Madness" are really varied and cool. From other songs, none has failed, but mostly very ordinary. Compared to other DJ-albums with many vocal features that have appeared in recent months, "United We Are" is much better than "Lists" by David Guetta (not art!), But somewhat weaker than "Neon Future I "of Steve Aoki. It's about as good as "Motion" by Calvin Harris. The album will probably sell gigantic and really has some strengths, but is not the super-mega-hit, as some might have assumed.
