The story of the duo Simon & Garfunkel ended actually in the early 70s. From a reunion they said in 1981 when they united to a free concert in Central Park. The at that time produced double album was a huge success and for many the Simon & Garfunkel document per se. A greatest hits album with some of the best recorded by then solo numbers of men, all knowledgeable and stylishly arranged. So why another concert album? Now on the one hand, to celebrate a nostalgic experience and to demonstrate that Simon and Garfunkel still bring a huge audience to dream and to groove. It almost seems as if someone turned back the clock. Who has the '81 album already, will be pleased with a couple of songs, which at that time were not on the setlist (I am a rock, Cecilia, El Condor Pasa, Keep The Customer Satisfied) - not just those highlights to therefore have the new Collection to give preference to. More of a selling point is the appearance of "Special Guests", the Everly Brothers, who bring to the DVD two of their biggest hits (Wake up, little Susie, All I Have To Do Is Dream) and together with Simon & Garfunkel "Bye Bye Love "intone. One last time, the two brothers thus arrive again deservedly into the limelight. They were with their style of harmony singing yes, among other things formative for Simon & Garfunkel. Through this interlude the 2003s concert gets its own accent.
