The adapter comes well packaged and is also manufactured properly.
No rough edges, everything fits very well into the MacBook Pro.
The instructions come later via a link (2 days!) And is very well illustrated.
The installation thus presents no problems whatsoever.
In my Book (Mid 2009) I needed only a small Phillips Dreher.
As plate came with me into a Samsung 1TB and it runs very quietly.
I initially feared that the adapter is very noisy with the hard disk - but that's not the case.
Deduction is available for the external casing which is made of cheap plastic and is clamped together only.
In the absence of installation instructions must also advise yet.
The drive is working but is extremely lame!
If you want to extend the disk, they jammed in the housing (for me anyway).
Only when turning the housing it worked because the drive had game.
Maybe a guide would have helped here.
The disassembly of the housing is proving extremely complicated because it is held together only by plastic-click brackets.
This is also the first tracks on the housing, if you want to open it.
After using some foam from the camera technology (1,2mm at four points), the housing now works as expected (and loudly).
Conclusion: Since the adapter works well, there are three stars. The rest is so-so. Next time, I'd buy an inexpensive adapter and an extra housing.
