This rum but plays in a different league. No comparison to the usual supermarket products, even the seven-year Havana Club (actually not bad) taste in a direct comparison as cheaper booze (my buddy had the same opinion).
I have also some other very tasty rum tasted eg Ron Zacapa, Pyrat, Malecon, and Malteco Botucal. Excluding the above noble fires devalue, but the Plantation came until now ran no.
He is sweet, very mild but highly aromatic. The delicious oak and vanilla tones combine in leaving a slight coconut note. On a balmy summer evening on the terrace divine.
But the tastes Plantation course in winter;) I've this rum last Christmas my family purposed. Außnahmslos all loved.
It went so far that my brother got me (actually whiskey drinkers) recalled recently because it no longer is the rum out of my head and I should not hesitate to order a bottle with him.
So to all those who like or similar times a brown drop ala brandy, whiskey, cognac drink: Buy yourself this rum, users will not be the approximately 40, - Euro regret.
For my previous Rumerfahrung currently the best rum in the world and in this price range in the long term. 6 Stars :)
