The clock radio AEG MRC 4141 makes a visually siginificant. The processing of the case is good; according to the price.
The front display of the time is great, very easy to read and dimmable in 3 steps, but also completely switched off. After switching on the radio is for approximately 10 seconds, the set frequency is displayed (10 stations can be programmed). By pressing a button and date, temperature and humidity can be read. The weather forecast display is unnecessary, since the sensor is located on an approximately 10 cm long cable, so only the values can be measured in the room.
The located on the front control buttons are big enough and have a well-defined pressure point. Unfortunately, one pushes the lightweight radio (414 g) each time you press back. Remedy: include and press with your thumb!
The projector is switched off on the rear panel and is unfortunately only 180 degrees switchable, but does not swivel to compensate for skew. The display is very bright but not too bright, very easily focused, but unfortunately rasterized somewhat coarse. But it can get used to quickly.
The sound of the radio is tinny due to the tiny, built on the back speaker. Of course, it lacks the lower frequencies. Remedy: connecting an external loudspeaker (only for hobbyists, as no female available). The volume is very well adjusted in small increments.
The built-in clock (no clock) seems somewhat proceed. (To be tested over a longer period)
Conclusion:
A good for the low price, small clock radio with minor technical disadvantages. If you want more, also needs to invest more money.
