1. Optics
Which for us is of course the most important women :-) Optically my netbook like really good. It looks chic and high quality and is especially nice thin. Missing just only the glowing apple :-)
2. Operation
Except for the fact that my touchpad was turned off for some reason and it took me forever to activate it because the usual key combinations did not work, the netbook is very intuitive designed and easy to use. Particularly well done, I find the keyboard with the "arrow keys" that I often use.
3. Performance
I'm not a computer expert, so I can not say very little. Super, I find that the laptop actually boots up very quickly and then is ready for immediate use. With my old Samsung netbook has 2 min. waiting for the start-up and then again 3 to 1. you could open the program. Negative I noticed is that it takes forever to open the individual apps. Me personally annoying the. Unfortunately, I do not know if this is due to the performance of the netbook or Windows 8. But since I hardly use these programs, I can overlook that.
4. Operating system
Speaking of Windows 8 ... Hmm ... As Apple fan I had Windows 8 actually find well ... I guess that should not have been. I'm working still with the "old" UI. Windows 8 with the tiles is for me rather gimmick.
5. Overall impression
Those looking for a netbook for simple activities like surfing, writing, etc., is very well served with the Asus. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. I would give 1 point deduction for Windows 8, but then it has basically nothing to do with the netbook and therefore 5 Stars!
