The adapter has initially working properly. I had about run a SCSI controller. The was immediately recognized, so initially all the best. After 4 days, the PC could not get the boot. Fortunately, I had opened the case before I pressed the reset button to make a new start attempt. For now, only one component was blowing on the adapter, and then an IC on the SCSI controller, I could "admire" Life. Only the rapid separation of the computer from the power supply has probably prevented a total loss. It may of course be an isolated case, but completely harmless the subject adapter does not seem to be. Then maybe buy a newer PCIe card, instead of the whole computer to risk.
