I use razors top-end Philips for 25 years, and after testing the top model Philips S9711 / 32 I switched to Panasonic. I have a very hard and difficult beard that grows diagonally, and the delicate skin, and this wonderful razor shaves BETTER than Gillette Fusion ProGlide. In only four or five minutes the skin is smooth with no trace of hair on the same neck. The shaver is very delicate, and causes no irritation. The shaving intensity is adjusted automatically thanks to a very efficient detector. The vibrations are practically nil, comparable to those of Philips. The sound is also very small, only slightly higher than the Philips. The shaving head adapts perfectly to the contours of the face, I did not notice any problems. The basic cleaning is very effective, I have no trace of hair. It is possible to use other less expensive liquids. I use it to dry, being very efficient with no need for shaving cream. The build quality is excellent, superior to that of Philips that has a bit too much plastic in particular the inner workings. The cost of replacement blades is slightly higher than the Philips, but against the battery can be replaced without changing the entire razor (which was mandatory at least with 3D SensoTouch; with the 9000 series, the mode of employment only specifies that the battery can only be removed when you throw the razor). Finally, the price is very expensive but much less than that of Philips shavers. Recommend it without hesitation!
