Adapter contains the Prolific PL2303 chipset (like almost all cheap USB-to-Serial adapter). The driver of the original Prolific webiste prolific.tw running neither in this nor in other Adpater with the same chipset under Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise - you can install the drivers while but then gets "Error - unit can not be started" in the Device Manager. Also the - available only after consultation - driver that lets-sell! makes available, has the same problem. Fortunately seen the note from the driver and downloaded there - and bingo, it works. You can even more of these adapters plug 7 system in a win and then has several serial ports. All set baud rates have also worked perfectly. Incomprehensible that lets-sell the Injfos where you can download the drivers to the adapter, not the same as in item description published, but one has to ask only by email. Commendable: the answer came already 1 hour after request! Even if the driver then unfortunately but did not work and I had to look on your own a suitable driver, I can only say, hats off to the faster response time.
Conclusion: little money and some driver confusion, but the bottom line is satisfied as functionally properly.
