For the background and the historical reason, I want to mention that I do not have (chronic) back pain. I, however, mainly working on the computer and thus ENGAGED sedentary activities, arises late in the day but regularly a certain tension in the back muscles a. This I wanted to counteract with this device something.
During the first uses I was quite pleased and satisfied with the device. The purpose of the muscles to relax a bit and to promote my well-being, it has to start definitely satisfied, although the acupressure massage was not allowed to value especially for my taste. The massage was indeed strong and thus apparently effective, but not unpleasant.
After a few days, however, I felt increasingly pain in the areas that have been processed by the massage mat. Therefore, I have been waiting for each until further use until the pain was gone, but it was from application to application painful and unbearable. The bullets pierced downright in my back and it felt more like I was just beaten massaged instead.
The last time I had such severe pain along the spine that I was partially restricted in my freedom of movement. That can not be the purpose of such massage mat certainly why I decided without hesitation to return because I definitely do not want to damage my health. Now that I have spent some time without massage mat, my pain is fortunately again completely disappeared - since the slight tension after a long day is a price to pay just to be happy.
Based on this experience I withdraw my original buy recommendation and rate every buyer to pay attention when using on his health and adjust when in doubt the application. My original advice to embark on serious and chronic back problems in the hands of an expert, I can only repeat at this point. This device should be used for personal relaxation, and the user inflict any pain. Ultimately, I forgive two stars because of my individual factor from buyer to buyer is fully aware and I am not completely satisfied with the device. Pain is, however, should not be taken into account (need to) when using this product.
