After some trickery's works great

Have tried with my Nikon SB-600 to the remote trigger. First, to no avail - either triggered lightning does not, or every second. Unit exchanged - same result. Then enlightenment: The metal shoe the shutter closes the control contacts of the SB-600 shortly. A piece of a plastic binding strip (for filing of documents) cut out (the punch-hole has exactly the right diameter) between clamped and now you go without difficulties. Have not done a lot of photos, but so far (in interior applications) has the trigger each time triggered reliably, even without direct line of sight to the camera.
