Since we are being held with all the tricks and Einzelkomponeneten up-to-date, the 10/100 port of the motherboard no subject was available but so far (with wireless thick enough). After relocation and input internet with Unitymedia "everything is faster," but we wanted to use for Lan 1000. First attempt internal Intel card was not removed from the system (but was probably in the "old base system"). Next try the Level One adapter: clearly limited the USB2 port on the system 480 instead of 1000, but these are yes and can only be reached in theory anyway. The connection lasted incl. Unpacking about 3 minutes and the internet worked after noticeably faster (especially in large packages). As I pick up the USB connection from the monitor (Dell) and the adapter is exposed thus, there is no heating problems. Overall, it must be said that just for old Mainbooards 10/100 Internet connections, this solution is fast and cheap, although one must not expect any miracles in the speed increase.
