Look and feel:
The X2 looks elegant titanern and holds good. He makes a rock solid impression. His left side einzusteckendes cable is quite flexible and not too thick, the 3.5 mm jack fit perfectly. The 6.3 mm jack adapter is only for mating.
The D2000 is graceful / classy / timeless to watch, but touches his little spongy. The cable is a Y-shape associated with both listeners bottoms; it is unruly and thick. The 3.5mm jack is made of aluminum but at Portables something too clunky. The 6.3 mm jack adapter, however, is the screw.
Setting up:
The X2 sits solidly, adapts immediately to the head. The pressure is fixed but not suppressed. At the Plush ear cushions it is slightly rough to the skin. When storing it is just as firmly and is no rattling noises.

The Asus Xonar Essence ST is quite a good sound card with built-in headphone amplifier. As a player I use foobar2000 already for years. The sound goes directly to the ASIO sound card. All effects are made in between (no processor, no equalizer). The songs go from Amazon MP3 over 24Bit FLACs to DSD64. The majority are 16-FLACs of CD.
The X2 has over 30 hours of music behind him and plays somewhat smoother than out of the box. Especially the bass is very good. The deep drum of KODO to record on is authentic.
