Customer Review

Here's my review after about 2 months of intensive use as a PC (notebook) Headphones:

As a satisfied Sennheiser PC 350 and Logitech 930 user I was skeptical at first and had inwardly prepared myself to return the headphones after trying again to Amazon. But after the first trial hearing was clear to me: the first remains!

First things first: If you want to use these headphones on your PC, at least has a Asus U3 sound card purchase (40 euros). With the Sennheiser 350 I have noticed only a slight difference to the onboard sound. With the X1, however, is immediately clear what the U3 actually has it.

Now to the sound:
In short, the X1 übetrifft my previous headset in absolutely all areas. (Soundstage, bass, detail, ...)

I have the bass in the equalizer (soundcards setting) lowered slightly to be able to vote still understand (videos, radio broadcasts)
But for listening to music I turn now and then but a basslastigeren profile.
Listening to .FLAC files makes this headset really fun!

A surprise I experienced also in terms of comfort:
After 1 month, use felt my old PC 350, which I had previously considered perfect in terms of comfort, suddenly "strange" compared to - I would really not expect!

Negative (for me):
- No sound control on the cable / headphones

Price / Performance: Top! Kudos to Philips.
