Let me now turn to the matching artwork of the disc.
As I understand it, Alexander's wife Anastasia has all shown there pictures drawn (big compliment for this!) That accompany the story wonderfully. One gets downright lust out by listening to the album from beginning to end, and to follow the images and the texts gradually. Great!
But even if you in a quiet atmosphere (best in total darkness!) Listening to the songs, you can let yourself be carried away perfectly into the fantastic world of Asen'ka.
And now a little more about the individual songs of the first CD, so the main part of the album.
1. From victory to victory
A quiet, lovely introduction to the plate. The sounds have something almost anthem-like and one is already in anticipation of the next song.
Rating: 5/5
2. The flames shine in the hair
This song begins rather with calm tones, but with massive announcements of Alex. Later on come here for the first time a little harder guitar on the scene.
Rating: 5/5
3. As a bear
A rhythmic song. It is true that only with calmer piano sounds, but later also with the guitars. Although a good song, but it lacks somehow the last kick, which would tear me from the stool. Maybe this song need me but only some time to unfold fully.
Rating: 4/5
4. Say the magic word
Slowly the mood on the album is a bit wild, great! A song with catchy potential.
Rating: 5/5
5. Today
Wow, awesome! The beautiful song of Alex fits perfectly with the guitar sound. A Samsas dream song to give you goosebumps!
Rating: 5/5
6. Die, little children, die!
In my opinion, the first truly gloomy song of the record, with many rough and tough passages. I like it very much! There is nothing more to say.
Rating: 5/5
7 Hedgehog in the Fog
Here is grown properly at speed, and you can (or must!) Just rock out to this Sück and dancing.
Rating: 5/5
8. The Frog Prince
Attention, from here it gets dark and dirty. Asen'ka seems to have been captured by the evil frog prince. Alex plays the role of tyrannical monarchs super, and it's great fun to listen to the song.
Rating: 5/5
9. I thy Wolfsblut
This song is nice rocking back and also impresses with great lyrics. Very catchy and absolutely super.
Rating: 5/5
10. In the origin of the shadow
The following applies to this piece, which also applies to the whole album: from quiet passages to the hard thrashing is everything. The plot of the plate seems to reach its peak. Alex is here vocally supported by female counterpart beautifully, and it harmonises perfectly truly. Those who do not like this song, is your own fault.
Rating: 5/5
11. Give me your wings
And as if all that had not been already, yet is draufgesetzt here with this brisk, guitar-based song. Again, there is nothing to complain about.
Rating: 5/5
12. Your heartbeat whispering my name
Slowly Asen'ka comes to its (main) end. The song makes the album very nice finish and (at least to me) Fold down one impressed with the last Tones fade jaw.
Madness!
Rating: 5/5
At this point, the ears of those who have indulged in the Limited Edition, again spoiled by 9 other pieces composed especially for Alex two plays. It is worth it!
Conclusion: Wow! 59 of 60 points to be achieved by me? An excellent performance! All points already mentioned by me let Asen'ka therefore perhaps the best so far published work are Samsa's dream.
Those who still think to add itself the Limited Edition, which I can only say: Yes! Absolutely! Asen'ka is worth every goddamn penny! And at least a little to Alex are indeed rewarded for his work. And you'd better not think for too long, because this version is certainly no longer be available for long.
Too bad we'll never come to enjoy some of these songs live to get to hearing ... Even when it is futile: Alex, if you read this; Please let Samsas dream resurrected on stage, anything else would be simply a shame. I am sure I am writing this on behalf of all your / your fans.
Well, now the album from the beginning to be heard.
I hope my review was some facilitate the purchase decision.
